On a solo trip last middle May 2015 the warblers up there were UNREAL! Warblers everywhere, super cool to see and here those busy bodies.

On Maraboeuf Lake and Saganaga Falls this past June, as well as at the outfitters, I saw or heard:

White-throated sparrow (Oh sweet Canada Canada Canada)
Gray jay
Cedar waxwing (a pair of them)
Common goldeneye
Hermit thrush (so beautiful)
American bittern (wish we had them back home)
Common loon (wish we had them back home too)
Whipporwill
Bald eagle (a pair of them, near the Sag Channel)

I'm still pretty green but it was fun to identify bird songs up north. What have you been hearing up north?
