We Basecamped on Alton, with day trips to the Dolmen rock,Beth lake and Wonder Lake. My grandson caught his first fish. My granddaughter tried to pick up every pinecone in the boundary waters. The only bad thing was carrying out five days of diapers.

Awesome.......... nothing better than tripping w/ kids in the bwca.
My girls are 12 and 10. I sure hope I'm still tripping when they have kids and I can take my grandkids.

Thanks for the advice given on this form, and all the trip reports I read on you guys taking your kids up there really helped. We went in Sunday and came out yesterday. The temperatures were in the 80s and no rain.
