I saw your other post in the trip planing forum and I'm in Ely right now so we are going to try some of those sugestions. I also ran across your blog and got some ideas from that also. Thanks!

Heading up to Ely in a few weeks with my daughter for a mom/daughter trip so to speak. There will unfortunately be no canoeing, but am looking for input?

We are staying at VNO
Plan to visit the Bear & Wolf centers
Plan to hike out to Kawishiwi Falls

Any other thoughts or tips?

Also looking for others who have hiked out to Kawishiwi before.
