quote ducks: "Great choice for MiniMN...... My wife and kids love their Bogs. They use them as their winter boots and as their cold water late season canoeing boots. I have Muck boots which are very similar and love them for the same purposes. "

We are a bog-boot family as well. I'm the only one who uses neoprene socks and mesh hiking boots.

great choice!

My kids each of 3 pairs of shoes.. sports sandals, water proof hiking boots and rain boots from Fleet farm. The girls feet are now to the size we can get over boots for their hiking boots so I'm going to be going that rout for them. I love my over boots for my hiking boots

Last year MiniMN had something similar to this and this ....

Our poor girl had wet cold feet our entire trip and we were constantly harping on her to NOT step in ANY puddles on the portages which was futile going in Mid-May....

Alas.. as I had them myself the last trip... I've gotten a pair of these in purple for the kiddo .

Splash away Mini MN... Splash away!

Our family all has muck boots but they're pretty much the same as you have. The kids love them, summer and winter. The only problem I have is keeping them from going in too deep and filling them up.

Also - don't warm too close to the fire - as they will burn - as I burned mine last year. They still work though and are still water proof.

We both have the -30 boots.
