Great skate skiing on the lakes around Ely. Fast, warm and beautiful.

Right now it would be skating over skate-skiing. No snow stuck to the lakes. Some folks are ice skating; I believe it is against one's better interest to maximize the pressure exerted on the ice at this time of year.
