Just bought a new one George. Might just take it with me this year.

I'm going in early this year, last week in August. :( The four of us are going in EP30 and using our kayaks. We have 2 prion sea yaks, 1 wilderness tsunami and 1 12ft perception. We did this in sept of 2012 and it was pretty easy going never unloaded boats just 2 manned them all the way to Hudson lake. This year we plan on making insula the first day. Decided against Mudro EP since 2 of our group have never experienced the b dub before. That entry looked a little challenging and didn't want the newbies to get overwhelmed their first time.

Wife and I think we might take our Jackson's - EP 30 and into Fire or Bridge from Lake 4 if I'm not mistaken. Plans are 3rd week of September

quote gsfisher13: "quote nlong: "I just got back from my trip last week. 6 days solo with my kayak. 70 miles of paddling and almost 60 portages. Went through 4 rivers and 44 different lakes. "

very nice, how did you carry the big pack in the foreground while paddling? strapped to the deck or small bags stuffed inside?"

I think that is a tree stump :-)

haha, you're right, guess I should have zoomed in on the picture more :) I thought the camo pattern on it was pretty realistic looking.

I leave in 20 days for little Indian Sioux/painless area. tempted to take the kayak instead of solo canoe due to shorter portage.
