Outside that is! I rode a 100 on a trainer to raise money for a worthy cause back in March. The ride last Saturday was the CARTI Tour de Rock. It is a benefit by CARTI (Central Arkansas Radiation Therapy Institute) for family members of those they treat with cancer. They treated me so I do not mind giving to them and helping families!

Okay the ride was 101.80 miles over a relatively flat course, we got to cross the Arkansas River twice, once on the Big Dam Bridge, and the other on the new Clinton Library Bridge, and into the wind for 43 miles before we turned to have it at our backs except for a short 5 mile turn back into it at one stage. Total ride time was 5:33.00 for the 101.80 which averages 18.1 mph. I had a couple of buddies that went with me, and really helped at the end, they drafted off of me a lot until the last 20 when they let me draft off of them, and we were able to kick it up a notch! Weather was nice, 68 at the start and 91 when we finished!

I'm a little late to this one, but I just rode my first century of the year last Sunday. It's only my second ever. Did it in 103.19 miles in 6h:50m. I was much faster on the first 50 than the last 50.

I started riding to work this summer. I've been riding about 460 miles/30 days and figured it was time to make the run up the Great River Trail from East Moline IL to Savanna IL. I was still pretty pooped when I got home.
