Nice shooting, Love watching dogs work a field for pheasants. I am hoping to get my dog out this week for a few ring necks!

Thought I might try to revive this thread!
The deer are in full rut, the ducks are flying and the pheasants are flushing. I would love to hear a story!

Well, I didn't deer hunt in the BWCA but I did hunt.
I got this 10 point Nov. 11th. (2 points were not quite an inch so officially not a 12 point. Dang!).

VERY nice buck and pics of some birds (I forgot what pheasants have looked like!).
I have had some good duck hunts this year but failed to get any pics...not very good since I started this thread!!! Sorry!!

Well I got back from my BWCA deer hunt! WOW what an amazing time.. And the snow fall on Sat made for the perfect setting! fresh snow and pine trees, what is more beatiful! As far as the hunt went, I will be posting pics, soon!

Since no one's posting a lot on the hunting page I'll add an OT pic. Love to Pheasant Hunt. So far the numbers in IA aren't as bad as everyone thought.
