Does anyone have a copy of the Arch Harris Camp and Portage waypoint data in GPX format? Butthead was kind enough to send me the file in GDB format a few years ago, which worked for my etrex, but unfortunately it will not load to my new Inreach Explorer+. I received a portage file from Schweady a while back too, but was hoping to find a combined file if anyone had one? Asking since the original website where this was hosting seems to be gone. This was the original URL: http://w3.cs.jmu.edu/arch/hobbies/camp/maps/bwca/bwcaw01.zip |

bwca-portage-tracks.gpx -- 1.9 MB -- 920 or so portage tracks bwca-camp-port-wpt.gpx -- 2.4 MB -- 2,098 campsite waypoints. The second file also contains endpoints for all of the portages which I find annoying to have around (not to mention the silly little airplane icons). I suggest deleting those waypoints from your collection, as they seem pretty redundant, given the portage tracks above. |

schweady: "tombo: I have these two files. Shall I email them to you? Probably in 2 separate mailings to keep my server from choking... Schweady, that'd be great - thank you! Will do on the clutter edits - thanks for the advice. |
