Mapsource itself isn't working?

That did the trick! I was using older instructions that had you install Garmin Training Center and then Mapsource instead of BaseCamp and then Mapsource. Thanks a bunch!!

Went through the steps for getting Mapsource that's outlined in the MAPS thread, but it doesn't seen to work for Windows 7. I went to the Garmin website but can't find any Training Centers downloads. Any clue?

Not as a download from the Garmin site. I get an error message of 'the requested operation requires elevation'.

I'm running MapSource at work and at home on Windows 7 x86 (work) and x64 (home).
I don't recall any problems running the installer. Maybe you need to right click the setup program & tell it to run as an Administrator?
I believe I followed this How-to at GPSFile Depot
