In a pinch I have used clear plastic shipping tape. Works good

Boxwave makes a nice screen protector called ClearTouch Crystal which is super clear. If you look on their website there is no listing for Garmin Montana 600 (as of when this was written), however the screen protector listed for the Nikon Coolpix S60 fits perfectly. ClearTouch Crystal product page
