Should you run into a similar situation in the future, here is my outline of how I converted that Arch Harris data to .gpx
Ignore the custom maps paragraph.

Just tried again no go, no downloading file with right click, left displays html image. Maybe a Win. thing.

I have had no success downloading files from the Arch Harris site recently (glad I have several copies). Found RC's site. Good source of files.

" Huh. I just went out to make sure that my old instructions were still somewhat valid, and it went even easier than it did in 2012. (No in-between Excel confusion/conversion step.) Dbl-clicked the downloaded file and the items copied right into BaseCamp. (Altho they were duplicates, of course... Thank God for Undo.)

Hello, just got my first GPS (etrex 20x) and having some difficulty loading the bwca portage tracks and campsites into Basecamp.
I've downloaded these text files into a folder on my computer but when I try to import them in Basecamp, they do not appear in the folder.
I'm stumped like a chump. My goal is to put portages and sites over the MN topo map. Any help with getting this archer harris info to Basecamp? Thanks much.

I do not think they are supported anymore. Emailed .gpx equivalents.
