Does anyone use a dangler on their sheaths and why? They seem to be very popular with the Sweedish knives and with some of the bushcraft crowd. What is the benefits?

Not often but they are handy if you wear a pack with a waist belt. It drops the sheath enough to get at. Another benefit is the ability to swing out of the way if you fall on your sheathed knife. I did trim the factory "danglers" from my AG Russell Bird and Trout and my Deer Hunter knifes, then reattached the clip to the tip of the sheath. These are attached to my packs.
