What the user chooses to do with it is his choice. It doesn't pain me for them to never see use. But it thrills me when a customer sends a picture of the knife on their belt when they're horse-back in the Rockies on an elk hunt. Or laying on the field dressed carcass of a wild boar in Alabama. Or laying next to the campfire in the B'dub. I make some higher-end knives that I know seldom ever see freedom from the display case. And I have to accept that. But both myself and the owner know that the knife can leap into action in a moment's notice. And act well. quote bapabear: "Karl, that is a beauty. |

I am almost exactly one year behind on taking care of my customers. I had this one ordered one year ago this weekend by a neighbor's friend up here for a Mn Firearm deer camp. It'll be a surprise when he gets here in a day or so. |

No doubt in my mind your knives are super functional but I see what you make and regard it as a beautiful piece of art that I would not want to risk ruining. Maybe that's just me being foolish or have you found other people would take that knife in a heartbeat and make it a "showpiece" knife in their collection? Does that pain you if they do this? |

My son and I have tried to make the Janesville Badger Knife shows and this year couldn't make it. Will you be attending their next one in March? Maybe I could see your work up close and get a chance to chat. |
