Karl, another beautiful combination of form and function! When I first saw the pics I thought the blade configuration was similar to the Randall pilot's knife with a more comfortable handle. Any thought that way as you were planning this one out?

This one is called a Brute de Forge - or roughly translated in knife-talk - rough and unfinished.
Portions of the knife are left exactly as they were right off the anvil. Yet, other portions are refined and hand finished. This one has bolsters made of Damascus.
