If I recall correctly, Martin mentioned Dandy was a walleye lake in one of his youtube videos. He is TheNorthwoodsman1.

Dunstan treated us well, both Walleye and Pike - but I suspect you are looking at the smaller lakes to the east that Martin has crossed.

He is a wealth of knowledge and I would encourage you to reach out to him directly. (If you have not already!)

While I can find out what fish spieces are in the "named" lakes in WCPP I was wondering about info on some of "unnamed" lakes. On last year's trip from Irvine to Royd (with a side trip to Gammon) I encountered excellent walleye fishing in most of the lakes that I camped on. However, I wish I had done a better job of gathering information on some of the lakes that I was going to travel.
This year we're planning a three week trip starting on Moose Lake and ending up on Lightning or Irvine, depending on where the spirits so move us to go. Our MO will be to basecamp two to four days, explore the area and fish to our hearts content with walleye being our target fish.
With all that being said this is what I'd like to do. I'll name a lake such as Moose which is our starting point. If you've fished the lake or have knowledge of what fish are in the lake and the quality of fishing in that lake please chime in. Once we cover that lake we'll move along our proposed route and keep gathering information as we go.
How about we start with Moose Lake? Let's include North and South Twin Lakes as we'll be making side trips into those lakes as well.
Thanks..........Mike

Thanks sns. I have that information. I don't expect to get many replies to some of these lakes as they are not visited too often. I'm going to keep moving along the route and see what happens.
Thanks again......Mike

OK ......anybody have any fishing info on the lakes going s/w out of Moose into Dunstan?
One of them is nicknamed Dandy.

Thanks for the input on Dunstan. I met with Marten about a month ago and went over our route. Talked quite a bit about fishing.

Let's move along the route.......has anyone fished the long narrow stretch of water between Ugly and Royd?
