yes...in June, boats traveled to the far west end of Kilburn and to the north end of Kilburn fishing the falls where Leano Creek drops into Kilburn...But, they were polite, went way around us, and seem to respect the canoe...We have been on this section in mid September/during moose rut and saw no boats and heard only the moose. In June, the deep bays of Kilburn were not visited by boats which gave us some quiet from the sound of motors...In June, we stayed in the Kilburn/Sydney area as our dog suffered a leg injury on a portage trail between Middle and Upper Kilburn...as he rehabbed the leg, we spent the time exploring the region in detail...much different than the quick paddles thru the region on the way to interior lakes...we caught fish, enjoyed the beginning of summer, and the dog got healthier/enough for another trip in August...

Only one trip to comment on, but in early September we saw nobody at all on Kilburn. Didn't get to most of the southern end, but north was empty. Fishing was phenomenal as well. That may be normal however, only have the one trip to WCPP under my belt.

Has anyone run into aluminum boats on Kilburn from the Sydney Lake lodge? Toying with the idea of base camping on Kilburn but having tinnies ripping around is less desirable.

Thanks
