quote dentondoc: "Have fun Sunny. That part of the park is a lot of fun. There is a picto on Paull, but nothing like what you've already seen on Artery. If you need a hint to location, give me a shout.

Give Harlan a shout at Red Lake Outfitters. He will happily give you the latest info. You can't miss the new store either as you drive towards the traffic light in Red Lake.

I am coming in from the other side. We will come close to crossing paths. The 10 day forecast is looking good for the start of next week. A busy week so the time should go fast. Still need to pare down the load a bit.

We go into Leano on Saturday August 31st headed South to Kilburn,
down to Talon up to Paull and out the East end of Paull to Elephant Head and Leano. nctry (Ben) and Boppa (Rick) and a couple hounds.
3 solo canoes.

Anyone been on this route this year??? How are the Portages??
Talked to Park folks today and they thought they were cleaned up pretty good after all the blow down and breakage on this route.

Good luck, wish I were headed up there myself. By all means, stop and see Harlan and his new store. Great location. When I was there, they were still working on the inside, but really coming along.
