Just as an FYI, Matt did not make the trip to the EXPO so his geology talk has been changed. I will be presenting instead on the fire driven ecology of the area. Lots of cool photos.

Claire Q will also be presenting at the show.

Hope to see some familiar faces.

Go to canoestories.com

There are a number of stories, journals and accounts of trips that people have experienced in the Caribou. Also, has a number of accounts of other places.

In addition, there are many video journals on youtube. Just type in Woodland Caribou canoeing, or something similar.

Hours and hours of good information.

Anyone have any good books about the WCPP area? I enjoy reading stories or history replated to the area I am canoeing.

There's a class about the geology of the area this weekend at the MM outdoor expo if you're in the Cities or nearby.

Nothing personal but that's disappointing, I was kinda excited about it.

I'll look forward to your class then....no pressure or anything. :)
