Just wondering what the waterfront/beaches are like at camp sites? Specifically, looking at what they are like in the southwest side of things. Thanks in advance!! C- |

Campsites are usually on a point or other visually appealing area where the rock slabs gently slope into the water. I was in the south central on the east side |

quote Alan Gage: "From what I saw on my one trip there the beaches, along with the rest of the landscape, are made of granite slabs. I think I saw one short stretch of sandy beach but there must be others as well. I was actually surprised by the number of nice sandy beaches I encountered. The entry point on Garner has a long sandy beach. I am told Haggert has several. This one is near the fly in cabin. Wrist has two, this one is on the south end at the portage into Streak. The other is on the north side of Wrist. The portage on the west side of Irregular has one. |
