Lot of good stuff there Ken. I hadn't discovered them yet, thanks!
I was just looking for some neoprene and foam too.
Oh man...they sell patterns too! My list of sewing projects just tripled.

I've only been sewing for a couple of months so don't take this as expert advice. :)
I just got finished sewing Ripstop by the Roll winter tarp . I went with the pre-cut kit. I don't have a good area for laying out and cutting that large of material. I've only sewn a few projects so far, but I think the tarp was the most difficult so far. It's not that the sewing is complicated, it's just working with large pieces of slippery silicone coated fabric was tricky. I get impatient and tend to rush projects trying to sew too fast and that causes most of my problems. If you took your time and didn't rush I would think you would be fine sewing this as your first project.
Jellyfish has step by step videos on YouTube. I had my tablet set up right next to my sewing machine and followed along.

Andy, I have bought a bunch of tent repair items from them. Average prices but good service, a good selection of lots of stuff to work with.

As the subject states I am looking for a winter tarp kit to use with my hammock. This will be my first attempt @ making my own gear and I figured this would be simple (please correct me if I'm wrong). Do you guys have any suggestions where to purchases such a kit. I looked @ a few places already, dutchware, and a couple others that I now forget. Thanks for your responses
