In 1 Corinthians 4:1, Paul says that the Corinthian church should regard him as a "Steward of the mysteries of God." That sounds pretty mystical, but what he's saying is that God has shown him things, and now he must be faithful as a teacher to share those things with others.

When I'm in the Boundary Waters, often God will reveal Himself to me in new ways. His majesty... His gentleness... Often certain passages in the Word will come alive to me while I'm immersed in His creation.

That new revelation is not just to make me feel goosebumps! It's a new understanding of God or His heart that now I'm responsible for. There will undoubtedly be an opportunity for me to share that new revelation with someone that needs to hear it. Will I be a faithful steward of God's mysteries?

If I will freely give away what God gives to me, He'll give me more!

Have a blessed day everyone!

I think anytime I'm outdoors with no other distractions, it is easier to see, talk to, and feel our creator? I'm so fortunate to live in an area where that's possible frequently!

This post reminds of one of my favorite quotes "Clarity emerges from silence, and passion and purpose are the fruits of clarity". Matthew Kelley

When I was in business building chimneys and fireplaces I was constantly adding new techniques, equipment that broadened what I could do, etc. And I’d get demand immediately for that service or whatever. God seems to work that way with your walk. You are given enlightenment on things sometimes for a reason. Places like the Bwca are great for this if we’re truely seeking the truth. For me I’ve had God do stuff to get my attention. Sometimes I’m kinda slow and it takes a knock on the head to see it. But the good news to me is He’s still interested in me. So I’m paying attention! As Billy also says over and over... maybe cause I’ve heard the same message over and over... one day the Spirit might not be there. We get chance after chance to accept the gospel. How many times did He Say He hardened their hearts because they didn’t listen. My first thought was King Saul... he was given strength through God to do great things. Then he decided to act on his own strength. That didn’t work so hot.
I hope you are called to do great things with Gods great strength!
