One of my daughters was home this weekend. She's a senior in college. She's done really well as a business major and has had some wonderful internship opportunities, the kinds of things that translate into a good chance at a good job after graduation. And, then there's God...who might have a different plan for her. She's been on this path to take a business class in Europe in January but feels a strong pull to do a different class in Cambodia. This January class thing is just a piece of the larger picture though. It feels like my little girl could end up being called to serve. I assured her today that what we really want as parents is for her to follow God's leading, and that might not be the Great American Dream, whatever that is.
I feel blessed, but uncertain as to where this is headed. Just have to trust...
