Today after church I sat down with my family here at home to a feast of beans and country ham, mustard greens, kraut and polish sausage, and cornbread. I cannot help but to praise God for that opportunity, not just to eat some doggone good Southern cooking but the opportunity to be with my family whom I love SO much. Today there are at least 27 families that aren't able to do that. I just cannot seem to get this horror out of my mind. My wife and I are both educators and this has blindsided us. Today, however, I have decided that being a "good enough" daddy to my kids and husband to my wife will no longer be good enough anymore. Today and everyday that God gives me the opportunity I am going to be the best daddy, husband, teacher, friend, and Christian that I can possibly be. I might not get another chance tomorrow.

Well, I think "Exceptional" is more accurate than "Good enough" from what I've seen out of you. Those poor folks are in our hearts and prayers. The one little blue eyed girl looked like a friends daughter and I couldn't dry my eyes for awhile. So sad.

To hug more often to say and show you love more often.
With the world only going to continue in a fallen state and things get worse before they get better.I am one that believes that those who are looking to the work done on the cross and the one who did that work, that they will be all right and end up in a better place.
