quote Fyresparxx: "40 degree ultralight UQ on Amazon: Yes! I actually own that one. Its rated to 40 degrees, but I was definitely cold in it in the mid 40s, so I purchased a HG Econ UQ zero degree, but during the summer I will DEFINITELY use this. Its super super soft. BTW - I sleep super cold though - for instance we just went into the BWCA last weekend, and I brought my zero degree UQ, while my family used no UQ. its all personal preference. I would suggest getting some S Biners however for an easy attachment to your suspension. Its a sleeping bag/UQ combo. Here is my video on it. Outdoor Vitals UQ |

quote Fyresparxx: "40 degree ultralight UQ on Amazon: 2.2 lbs for a 40F quilt isn't light. Hammock Gear has some "economy" quilts. They got a great deal on down and developed/produced a special fabric and are basically passing awesome savings on to their customers while supplies last. You could get a 40F down UQ for $89.95! It also only weighs less than 15 oz over the nearly 40 oz "ultralight". Hammock Gear Econ Quilts |

http://a.co/1QLXfmg It's a lot less expensive than some of the other ones, and the description says it compresses to 8X8X8. But one of the reviews says it's 9x14. I'm currently using a 10 dollar Wal-mart bag with tabs sewn on, but I want something a little more lightweight and packable. But I can't justify spending 100+ on an UQ when mine is technically fine (if a little bulky and heavy). |
