Just finished a 10 day trip hanging and I have to say I think I'm a convert. Very comfortable sleeping. Storage inside the hammock was adequate with my BBXL. I think the superfly tarp sealed the deal for me.
I wish it would have rained more to test my silicone job on the tarp but I'm pretty confident in it.

This is excellent to hear. I am doing a 10 day hang myself in about a month. What area did you camp in? We are hoping to snag that premium spot on the Oyster peninsula if it isn't taken.

Glad to hear it went well. Will your wife be hanging with you or still tent? You might work on converting her, too.

I'm the last convert in the family. She has hanged on several mission trips in the past. If we go with other people she will hang. If we go ourselves we will probably tent it.

Jim - welcome to the enlightened side. You made excellent choices starting out with the blackbird and superfly. No messing around with that low rent stuff!

I introduced my wife to hanging and now we hang tandem under a single tarp. A superfly would work well for that. Just saying it is an option ;)

Amen Brother!

The Super Fly is!

Spent many dry nights hanging in my DD Frontline ( still my favorite) under my SF in the rain the past 5 years.

Blue Skies!
