Four of us did WCPP early June - all in hammocks. I was a bit nervous about finding enough suitable trees up there. Occasionally had to get creative, but we all always got them hung.

I mean, I just did this weekend, but it was in my sister's backyard... (I sleep outside at her house because she doesn't want my dog in the house.)

Spent the third week of July up in Ranger Bay. Great trip even with the weather!

Hanged in the fire lakes this past week while introducing an old friend to the bwca. She used my old tent, spare bag and pad. Our last day, heavy rain was predicted. I would have liked to wait it out, hanging under tarp with another summer Grisham re-read but I just couldn't make my friend wait out the weather on the cold, wet ground. I realized another aspect I enjoy about hanging - no more internal innie or outie battles! Anyway, we departed just prior to the heavy rain. But she did get to experience paddling in it as well as packing out in it. She was in awe of the departures going on in spite of the weather. It was quite festive.
