Posted this on the hammockforums.net, but they are likely sick of my questions. I just can't figure out how to shut the doors with a bridge hammock. Tarp is 13 foot and set up for the Ridgerunner from manufacturer.
Winter Haven 13 foot with doors/poles/ set up for Ridgerunner.
Tried for two hours to set it up where the doors would close, but cannot get the suspension to fit inside.
Hung tarp as high as I could reach, and hammock as low as I could so saddle bags did not touch when I was laying in it.

Got it figured out. Had to shut the doors and stake down before putting poles in. It's a real pain in the butt, but the only way I could make it work. Sweet view when it is set up with a bridge hammock.

That looks like an interesting tarp. I like the concept of poles to help pull out the tarp, but at the same time it's getting almost tent-like without the having to sleep on the ground part.

The Winter Haven has sewn in pockets for the tarp poles on the inside.

My bad I meant they have plastic hooks on the middle to keep them centered like in this photo:

You don't have to use the poles, or all of them for that matter. I will be using it for a week in October and really like the idea of having enough room for a chair, etc.

How is your tent pole attached to the tarp, is that a tent clip? Is that clip just tied to some grosgrain, im looking for a better solution as i just tie grosgrain now and want a clip instead.
