Posted this on the hammockforums.net, but they are likely sick of my questions. I just can't figure out how to shut the doors with a bridge hammock. Tarp is 13 foot and set up for the Ridgerunner from manufacturer. Winter Haven 13 foot with doors/poles/ set up for Ridgerunner. Tried for two hours to set it up where the doors would close, but cannot get the suspension to fit inside. Hung tarp as high as I could reach, and hammock as low as I could so saddle bags did not touch when I was laying in it.

Got it figured out. Had to shut the doors and stake down before putting poles in. It's a real pain in the butt, but the only way I could make it work. Sweet view when it is set up with a bridge hammock.

That looks like an interesting tarp. I like the concept of poles to help pull out the tarp, but at the same time it's getting almost tent-like without the having to sleep on the ground part.

The Winter Haven has sewn in pockets for the tarp poles on the inside.

right, im referring to the top of the tarp, not the pockets.

My bad I meant they have plastic hooks on the middle to keep them centered like in this photo:

You don't have to use the poles, or all of them for that matter. I will be using it for a week in October and really like the idea of having enough room for a chair, etc.

How is your tent pole attached to the tarp, is that a tent clip? Is that clip just tied to some grosgrain, im looking for a better solution as i just tie grosgrain now and want a clip instead.
