Zeppelin Underquits
Does anyone have any experience with Zeppelin UQs and WBBBs? I am looking at the 20 deg Long with the draft collar added. They look similar to the Incubator. Any thoughts or opinions on either with the Blackbird?

Tom, I do have the 20 degree. It was 219 plus a 35$ charge for the custom order, extra down, fabric. All together it was 267. i think I paid an extra 20$ for draft collars, which I believe are included now. the extra 5" on the UG quilt compared to the 44" wide HG quilt makes a huge difference. Unless you are rail thin the wider the better. I would take the UG quilt over the HG quilt any day.

It only weighs 2lbs, heavier than most but still pretty light weight. I set it up once, made a few adjustments to the suspension and havent had to touch it since. I use an S-biner on each end, clip it to the BB's suspension above the gathered fabric and its set. Slept in it last spring in temps in the low 20's and was toasty warm, I looked up the specs, 55"x83"

Im pretty sure that's a blackbird in the picture with the 20 degree bag. I've never heard of this company but am in the market too so thanks.

Yeah, I have one. Its wider and longer than a standard quilt. here is an Incubator on top of my Zep
As you can see its huge. I cant remember what the exact measurements are but I believe it was about 6" wider. Its my go to quilt. I didn't like the Incubator just because it seemed too narrow for me and a little movement had me adjusting it all night, so I went with a wider quilt. I probably didn't need to get it that wide but on my BB it fits perfect. I doubt you would have a problem with a standard quilt.
As far as quality, the Zep is tops. Paul even deducted shipping because he thought one of his seams wasn't straight enough and wanted me to send it back if I wanted it fixed. I would have never even noticed. I also have the draft collars and they seem to eliminate any drafts.
Paul's a get guy to work with and very good about custom orders and keeping you in the loop as far as production and he stands behind his work.

Good buy! I agree the HG quilt is real well made, just a little narrow for me. Now the fun part for you, the wait!

I just realized that I was pretty vague about my quilt. It is actuall wider than a standard UG quilt, I had Paul custom make it. that said, the standard zepp is still wider than a HG quilt.

I purchased the 20 degree UQ Long, with draft collars.
I appreciate your input. Paul has been very good to work with, as I had several questions for him throughout the process.

From what I have learned, you really cannot go wrong with the Incubator either. Incubator Specs
I love the WBBB. I would have went for a Yeti, but I am a base camper and about 6'3" and I opted for more "coverage" for my aging carcass.
