I don't have a picture, but hopefully I can give you a mental picture. My son and I were desperate for a site on our Hunters Island tour. We finally pulled in and made do. We found three trees in a row to use. The two end trees were big enough, but the middle tree was too small. The middle tree was our common hang tree and worked if we were both in our hammocks and still. If one got up or moved much, the middle tree would bend towards the other hammock. It was like sleeping in a roller coaster. I woke up first, got out, and put my son on the ground.

Also no picture, really not in the mood. I had become lost in a foggy drizzle on Kawnipi and having trouble even finding a place to bushwhack ashore. Just before dark I got ashore and found a couple trees, pushed aside the dead fallen ones in between only to expose an ant hill. The tarp was up and drizzle continuing and the ants seemed more interested in finding shelter so I completed the rigging. Mosquitoes found me about then so a quick change into dry sleeping gear, grab some nuts and cheese stick and medicinal beverage and into the hammock.
The worst hang ever, but oh did it feel good to stretch out and relax. I love my hammock. I slept really well.

Photo 1 is my hang. It's hard to see but on each end I added 2 lines. One supporting my hang trees by tying them to another tree, and a second between 2 trees to catch or divert the tree if it fell.
Photo 2 is just 15 feet from where I was hanging. It shows what the whole area was like. Where wind and snow had not taken down trees, the beavers stepped in. It was not windy, but at least one tree fell while we were there.

Forgot my bag with the whoopie slings and ridge-line in it. I made a few quick substitutions.
It worked, but paracord sure does stretch - I think my butt was 4" off the ground by morning. Kept sliding down towards my feet all night.

I did that one night with my wife on lake four. I thought it was a genius rig until we bounced each other around all night- and not in the good way!

This is on the point on Hook Island in Saganaga the night before our tow out. My buddy had grabbed the better spot and I was left to stretch to reach two trees that were a good thirty feet apart. Once it was all set up though it was beautiful.

That's right! The foot end. First time hanging and sleeping in the WBBB. Learned real quick to keep that foot end higher.

This was my worst night in the BWCA. One tree way to big on the foot end, with another smaller pine tree that I had to torque with a bungee to keep its branches out of the way. The head end was attached to a snag on the shoreline that still felt sturdy. Pulled out the 10' straps to even get the geometry close, but it still wasn't even. Had another pine branch rubbing the hammock body by my head, so that every movement was amplified with 5 minutes of scratching the nylon. I gave up around 3:30am, and just waited for the sun to rise.

Hi All!
Coming from ECPizza's feedback, I was wondering if we could have a "worst hang" picture contest. I constantly see pictures of great hangs (over waterfalls, by the beach, etc.), but they don't jive with my experience (trees too far, trees too big, non-existent trees, rocks/limbs/bushes/land features in the wrong place). Hammock camping, like all camping, stretches your imagination and creativity.
I'll comb through my pictures, and see which ones I have - anyone else up for it?

 Can't really complain, but trees were a little too close together, loaded with sap, and there's a log under there I rested on the first night (not great). Also, my camp mates snored. Good times.

This is one of my worst...Fish stake narrows in a site destroyed by last summers wind storm. 
Slept like a baby though! Duluth to the camp site in 11.5 hours solo!
