what do I like about the Blackbird? They are handmade in Colorado by a guy who knows hanging. the shelf and footbox are two outstanding features. theres also a built in fabric layer under you if you want to slide in a pad. and most important - I sleep great with lots of room inside. Here's a pic of mine in the BW. |

I did upgrade to a larger tarp. I also had a side zipper put on it, as it was the bottom entry type. my motto- if it's still working well-keep it. |
