I got the first 2 months of P90X done. It was amazing. I enjoyed the mix of strength, stretching, speed, etc. I also saw nice improvements in appearance and strength.

Daughter 2 is about to start her senior year of high school soccer. So I bought Insanity Asylum. I thought it was a shorter, easier version of Insanity. Instead, it is a compressed, more intense version of Insanity. We both like it a lot. It is a great program to get ready for sports. We are just completing day 23 of 30.

Once Asylum is done, I think I'll take a week of rest and then resume P90X. When that is done, I'm not sure what I'll do...

My husband tried insantiy, it hurt his knees to much so he has switched to p90x and LOVES it.

I myself use Leslie Sansone: 5 Mile fat burning walk

Finished with my second week of P90X and trying to get some running miles in. So far, so good since the weather has been so nice.

I kept my fingers crossed during the months of Insanity that I wouldn't injure a knee or wrist or ankle.

So how did the 5K go?

I just finished Insanity, the Asylum today. It was a pretty intense 30 days. I saw some pretty decent improvements in cardio and strength.

Now, I'll take a week off and resume P90X.

Finished my second round of INSANITY yesterday. Four months of killer workouts and steady improvement in both strength and cardio. 20+ lbs of weight loss as well.

Today I'll be running a 5K at the local Polar Plunge site in support of Special Olympics and I'm hoping for a fast time.

Next on my list is P90X.

I kind of want to try the Asylum but if I do I will hold off until next winter, that seems to be the time that I just struggle to find things to keep me going. I wish I could love running in the cold but...

The Polar Plunge 5K wasn't a PR, but again, just over 25 minutes. Today, I ran another 5K and smoked my PR time. 24:07 so I am just giddy about it. Negative splits, even. Not what I was expecting but gosh, I felt great! Legs were good and the downhills were just in the right spot. The weather was perfect as well. Not too hot and not too cold.
