I did this watercolor of Johnson Falls way back in the day when I was in college. This was probably close to 20 years ago.

Johnson falls






















LOCATION: Extreme western end of Pine lake. There is a trail branching off from the portage trail to Canoe lake. Also, you can paddle closer to the outlet of the small creek and there will be trails spider webbing everywhere but, they all eventually converge and lead back to the falls.

Sometimes less is more...I like to see the detail in the rocks, and the quieter falls makes it an idyllic setting
