16 oz. can whole cranberry sauce 1/2 c. diced celery 1 med. apple, diced 1/2 c. chopped walnuts 8 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained and juice reserved 2 TBS lemon juice Boil reserved juice and 1/2 c. water with 2 TBS lemon juice and add to the Jell-O. Break up the cranberry sauce and add. Refrigerate until it begins to set, add remaining ingredients and pour into mold. Refrigerate until set. |

There were other ones, too, that she and my grandmother and aunts made. There was one that was lime jello with pineapple and cottage cheese, one was pineapple and carrots in some kind of Jell-O, besides the usual Jell-O with bananas or pears. Any of those sound familiar? |

boonie: "What about you? :) I ate it, my SIL ate it, but he eats anything anybody else cooks for him. ;) Too sweet for me. I prefer grease and salt! |
