Here’s what we had for dinner tonight. It’s easy and doesn’t take much time, making it a good mid-week meal. You can also make the meat and sauce mixture the night before saving even more prep time when you get home from work.

1-1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 medium onion (Diced)
2– 8oz cans tomato sauce
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. basil
2 (8-count) packages of crescent rolls

1. Brown ground beef and onion. (salt & pepper to taste)
2. Mix in tomato sauce and spread out in a 9”x13” baking pan.
3. Layer cheese on top of the meat.
4. Mix sour cream, oregano and basil.
5. Unroll and separate crescents into triangles.
6. Spread 1 to 2 Tbsp’s. sour cream mixture on each triangle and roll up, placing them on top of the cheese. (2 rows of 8)
7. Bake at 375 for 30 to 35 minutes. (or until golden brown)

Sounds good!

I used to make an easy supper with leftover spaghetti sauce (meat already in it).

Cut up refrigerated biscuits into 4 pieces, toss in greased 13 by 9 inch greased pan. Top with spaghetti sauce, any thing else you'd like and grated cheese. Bake for about 20- 30 minutes.
