Good choice.

Holiday party this week had a similar selection on display. Then, one of the guys pulls a New Belgium 1554 from the bottom of the ice bath. Ignore the fact that it is now labeled a "Black Lager" for some reason. Party saved.

The old schwarzbier, huh? I've had a few of those, including the 1554. Not among my favorite styles but adds interest and variety to beer tasting.

haha.... went to my wife's work party and it was a similar story..... Mich Golden, Coors Light, Sam Adams Boston and I can't remember the other choice. When the bartender said $7.50 I wanted to say he should pay me to drink that crap :) The IPA I had when I got home tasted extra good!

I know a couple of guys that say they love beer. However, what that means is that they love Bud Light and only Bud Light.

I keep telling them that they don't love beer, they love distilled pond water.

I can drink the cheap/light stuff but usually only do so on deer hunting or ice fishing trips where we are slumming it in some sort of run down shack. Drinking the cheap stuff seems to fit in with the ambiance.

Among some photos from some tasting event or another, I noticed cases of Bud Light in the back of a pickup. I was told that it was offered for rinsing one's glass between tastings.

Our company holiday party was all the usual suspects, plus some local stuff from Sun King. They had a pale and a cream ale. The pale is really good. The cream ale is...a cream ale. I will give them credit for having a gateway beer like that though.

Your welcome Mr B. Our gracious host had not put the Premo on ice. He asked me if he should and I said yes. It was garage temperature (about 35 degrees) but it tasted pretty good.

I would have gone premo, it used to be my go to before barley and kurps corrupted me.

Went to a Christmas gathering last night. Beer choices of Mich Golden Light, Coors Light, PBR and Grain Belt Premium. The Premo won out. The food and conversation however were like a fine craft beer.
