I just got back on Sunday from a base camp trip to Ensign. The skeeters weren't bad at all. There were a few out now and then, but I rarely had to put bug dope on. We took a day trip to Knife to see Dorothy Molters island. The bugs were a nuisance on the portages when my hands were too full to swat at them.
