Can't stop watching......

Home with a sick kid. Since she isn't feeling too bad, I am totally enjoying my day off. But my eyes are about to bug out of my head, so I guess I'll take a break...

What is the material used in the canoe? Kevlar, Carbon, both? That stretch of river had to be brutal on the canoe. Did you have some resin/epoxy and fabric for repairs?

I appreciate you sharing, these videos are bringing me considerable enjoyment.

Man that was some tough sledding. I'm glad you found your lures.

Good segment. I can see the tundra ahead. My feet are tired just watching the slog along the river. That fast water capsize did not sound good, but you provided a bit of humor with the "yard sale" goods displayed on the shore.

Lonely country up there........ you can feel it in the footage

I would like to know what you are using for boots and where you finally found your 2 fishing lures ;)

Thanks so much, this has been an awesome trip up to now! In watching all this unfold I am relieved to know that BeaV made it back alive, otherwise I would think that all this video footage was being shown posthumously after they recovered the body!

My wife took a few moments and began watching your story with me. Sort of surprised her and she shares my admiration of you and your adventure. Went back to the first leg and appreciated the distance you have come both physically and, well, physically. Downloaded firefox as was suggested and am much, much happier with the presentation quality.
Thanks for the inspiring footage.

The hip boots were Chota Hippies and the wading boot worn over the Hippies is Korker Konvertibles.

I don't remember where those two Blue Fox spinners were hiding, but was happy to have found them. Then I lost one right away snagged in the rocks. Then there was one but one was enough.

Tough going there, but nice looking country.

Kind of wrecks the story doesn't it! OK, how about this, maybe he didn't make it back, maybe I'm just a falsified screen name :)

Things are about to get a lot tougher, though.

Kevlar and many layers. This layup was incredibly tough. I had epoxy and felt repair kit with me but never needed to fix the boat. I did use this repair kit to patch up my paddles four times, though.

BeaV leaves the Yukon R to paddle upstream on the Chandalar en route to find his Alaskan cabin which he left there in 1989.
