So it seems that no one is interested, but the store just put a sign on the boat today (I've been to REI way too much in the last few days) advertising it at 20% off of $1949. They are practically giving it away.

In case anyone is interested, I saw a Wenonah Itasca in ultralight Kevlar layup at the REI store in Oakbrook Terrace, IL, for $1949. That is an incredible bargain. It seems to have no damage. The crossbar for the front sliding seat seems to be at a small angle instead of at 90 degrees to the centerline, but the seat slides smoothly.
