Now that the holidays have passed and schedule have hopefully settled, is there any interest in a local get together? I had the pleasure of meeting jcavenaugh in the not so distant past, and would like to do so with more of the fine people that frequent these boards. Just tossing the idea out there, and if there is interest, we can plan a bit more formally. It's February, after all, and the cain fever is hitting pretty hard. I am in the west Chicago burbs, but locaation can be set by convenience for the group. let me know what you think. Brandon |

Quick update for you. Just got of the phone with the Roundhouse. They will have space set aside for us in the Tavern Loft bar. From the main entrance it is around the corner to the left. They will have information/directions at the host stand when you get in. Just mention either bwca.com, or that you are there for Brandon's group and they will be able to direct you there. Between here and the similar thread posted in Listening Point, 3/19 has come up as a decent option for a lot of people. So the unofficial/official date is 3/19 at Two Brothers Roundhouse in Aurora. Start time whenever you get there, but I will try to get there around 7. If this works, I will call them and see what we can do for space/food, etc. Sound good? |

Trying to lock down an approximate headcount for the mini-wing so I can reserve space. Right now I have them setting aside space upstairs for about 25 people. Seemed like a safe count based on replies. If you could reply with whether you will be there and if you are bringing others, I would really appreciate it. Either here or the thread on Listening Point will work. Looking forward to meeting any and all that can make it. Spouses/significant others are welcome. Thanks! Brandon |

Put me on the list. Two Brothers Round House is in Aurora and is pretty big. Good food and even better beer. Aurora is a good location (50 miles or so) for folks coming from Chicago, Rockford, Gary, Waukegan, Kankakee, Ottawa. |
