Echoes from Iron Ore is a collaborative, independent roots music album recorded in March 2021 in a small cabin at the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA). Produced by Dave Simonett (Trampled by Turtles, Dead Man Winter), the album features a cast of local musicians and will help raise money and awareness for the protection of the BWCA. That looks amazing. I'm off too but sadly I'm pretty sure taking my god daughter for her 21st will render me useless that day. Hope it is a great time.

Went to the Rialto Theater in Joliet, IL this past week and saw the Outlaws opening for Dave Mason. Great show in a nice old venue. Mainly went to see the Outlaws but also enjoyed Dave Mason.

I saw the Eagles in Fargo 10 years ago but they did not have that kinda of backup. That would have been cool.
I saw Bob Dylan in Billings around 20 years ago and I think I was around 3rd row center. The whole place only held about 2,500 people so there would not have a bad seat in the house.

Nice Moray: Dropkick would be awesome to see.
I just bought tickets for Meshuggah so I am excited about that and hope to see more acts pop up around here.

Just looking forward to the free Thursday night shows at Mears Park in St. Paul. Was thinking about heading to Colorado to see the Dead and Company in October, but I refuse to purchase tix for any show on a resale site that jacks the snot out of the original price.

Yes I just went to Thirsty Pagan and there was a solo act ... he was really good too. Let me try to find his name.

Just bought tickets to see the Dropkick Murphy’s in October. Trying to talk my wife into going to see the Black Crows in August. Hoping to add a few more shows to the list. I really miss live music!

I’ve seen Flogging Molly a few times but never the Murphy’s. Looking forward to it. I tickets to see the FooFighters last Saturday night but it was postponed due to Covid. Was bummed.

My wife and I got to see The Eagles at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on October 2nd. First time seeing them after wanting to see them forever. Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmidt, Deacon Frey and Vince Gill, along with Steuart Smith and their backing instrumentalists. In addition, the St. Paul Symphony and a 50-member choir played and sang during a few songs. It was an amazing night.
We have attended a large number of concerts over the years, a list as long as your arm, and if the Eagles concert isn't our favorite, it's in a group of the Top 3. Almost three hours of GREAT tunes and entertainment.
And not to stop there, we just saw Chicago last Friday night. Probably the 4th or 5th time. Three original members still in the band - Robert Lamm, James Pankow and Lee Loughnane - but several others have been with the band for 15-20 years+. The main guys are in their 70s now, but the shows they put on are fantastic and full of energy every time they're on stage. Unbelievably fun. And we were lucky enough to be in the 6th row center! Even better yet!
