I have my two scouts and will be up there the 22-28th is there anything they can learn/do that is unique to the area? I know NT is there but we will not be participating in that. can we stop in and visit?

Portage, LOL.
A great place to utilize all the outdoor skills they have been practicing.

In a normal year you'd be able to visit NT but this year, I'm pretty sure I read only rostered crews and staff are allowed on base.


There's the Bear Center, the Wolf Center, Dorothy Molter museum, and the Soudan Mine as potential tourist attractions. Possibly others.
