So a couple months ago after a conversation with someone on their way down to Philmont, I started thinking about when I went back in 1976. My troop sent 14 boys and two adults on an awesome trip. I vividly remember the photo of my crew (we were split into two crews), but it vanished. On a whim, I googled Philmont Crew Photos and found that Philmont has not only kept an archive since I think 1955 but has them all (or very close to all) posted online. After some hunting and pecking ( I could not recall the dates of my trip) I found the photos of both of our crews. It was a lot of fun to see them again, and I had forgotten about a couple of the guys who went with us.

If you went to Philmont since Eisenhower was president but have lost your crew photo, have a look.

It's fun to look back at the crew photos.

Clearly a highlight of my entire Scouting experience adult was completing a trek at Philmont with my son and a great crew of young men and adults.
