We are from Nebraska so almost all of the camping that they do as a troop around here is car camping. Is there anything that they can work on earning in the BW that they might not be able to do elsewhere? I was looking at the 50 Miler patch, but it looks like that has to be an official troop activity and not just a family trip. They will both be earning their canoeing merit badges this summer at camp, so they won't have anything left do with that. I plan on talking to their Scout Master but was hoping to maybe get some ideas from you all fist since he isn't really familiar with the BW. Thanks, Andrew |
