If so- past events of a double La NINA point to colder to even extreme cold winter compared to avg's for the Upper Midwest and especially the Border land with a 2nd LA NINA> If time allows, I will post past years (winters) that had a double La Nina with the 2nd one being very cold. For now- here is the outlook from NOAA- ENSO outlook for upcoming late Fall into Winter...
