My daughter begged to basecamp on the nice peninsula site, but when she saw the rock/rapids, she said it was the most beautiful thing she ever saw and was glad we didn't. I tried reiterating the spirit of adventure and how the hard work of traveling to new places can pay off.

Thanks for the trip report, cycle - it looks like everyone was having fun ;). I also enjoyed the video - very nice - and the pictures in the blog. The funny thing to me is how you took that same picture of the rock (picture #5) that I did. It seems that just about everybody who goes up through there takes the same picture :)!

I've gone in Kawishiwi Lake the last two years and the first year I stayed on Amber at the other site after coming back down from Adams. I thought Amber was a pretty nice little lake and enjoyed the entrance paddle.

I think it's a nice area and I'm glad you enjoyed it and had a good trip.
