Our bwca trip this year was into Gabbro. I have always wanted to try a solo trip. Shoot, you put the two together! Now I really want to do it.

Nice trip report. A little short, but you convey the essence of your experience well in a few words. I've done three BW trips, one with my 27-year-old son and the other two solo (5 days and 10 days). I'm really torn between wanting the next one to be solo or with company. There's nothing like having your son with you, and there's nothing like real solitude. I hope whatever you do you'll teach your son enough so he can learn for himself which he prefers.
