Stopped for lunch and scouting to stay for the night. Probably a great hanging spot for a larger groups but seemed to have been abused recently. Observed several cigarette butts around the cooking area and a decent sized garter snake sunning itself near the waters edge was enough to move on :)

Good site for hammock. Not sure how it'd be for tents. Spent 2 nights here.

Great site for a couple of people, nice spots to hang a hammock, very scenic location, and good places to swim.

This campsite worked great for our group of 3. There was one really nice tent pad where we hung our hammocks, canoe landing was good. Good seating around the fire area for everything being on a slope, the hill/slope is probably the worst part about this site. Nice swimming rock to jump off of on the point. Didn't see another canoe for 4 days. Great pike and decent smallmouth fishing around.

Location I would rate 4+. Nice kitchen area and good trees around to hoist a tarp over the fire grate. Very little level ground in the kitchen area. 2 tent pads. Tree roots poised some discomfort. Very nice lake. Good site for small group.

Other than the fact it is on a scenic island, this site didn't have much going for it. The kitchen area is steeply sloped, the tent pads are plagued with sizable roots, and there is a precipitous drop just a few feet from the fire grate. I've seen several sites that I would rate worse but, this one ranks near the bottom for sites I've actually stayed at. There was a stack of 4 huge boulders in camp (not man made). They served no practical purpose but, provided some unique scenery & a place for our young daughter to play.

Not a very impressive site - might be totally fine for 2 people, but picturing our group of 5 trying to make it a home was tough. Nice views and good concept on top of a rock on this peninsula, but just not that much room.

Stopped here for lunch. Cozy spot. Small. Fun firegrate area. Two tents max. Easy latrene. Good spot for two couples or one. easy landing. Very pretty look out. I thought tarp would have been easy but did not try it so can't say for sure.

Landing decent. Firegrate on a great spot on a rock point. 2 tent pads but away from the fire grate to the left. OK walk to the latrine. Tarp placement could be an issue.

I found a lot of garbage here and orange peels. Nice rocks and a cool landing, but there was no good place to put tents. We decided not to stay here
