I got up around 6:30 and fished around the campsite. Caught a couple of small bass and a pike. Charlene got up about 8 (she's not a morning person) so I fixed her breakfast of oatmeal and a bagel. We had our morning devotional then she went fishing off the big rock just S of camp. She caught 4 smallies, one a nice sized around 18". We decided to spend the day paddling and fishing around Splash and stay here. It rained off and on all afternoon. Had most of Splash to ourselves as any other people were just going across the very S part of the lake to Ensign. Our camp site was completely out of view of them. Caught a few fish, smallies and pike. Nothing of size other than the one big one she caught near our campsite. Went back to camp for dinner. Grilled a couple of KC strips, broccoli/cheese rice, dried fruit. Began raining again around 8 so no campfire. Rained off and on all night.
