Day 3 of 4
Today we participate in sorts of shenanigans in our little bay haven. We catch fish, go swimming, all sorts of fun activities. It was a day we needed after the hell we went through. Later in the day we hike to the NW side of our site and find a great spot to fish off a cliff. Kyle throws in a cast and immediately catches a nice walleye. Like seconds after the bait goes in the water. The next two casts are also immediate catches. This is the spot! Unfortunately as soon as we catch those 3 a storm comes in real quick! We're a good 10 minute hike from our site and we book it back in the rain. Of course we had all our crap sprawled throughout the site. We rush to get everything under cover. I'll admit I was real bummed after finding the jackpot spot. The rain only last about an hour or two and we were left with the most gorgeous orange sky I'd ever seen. The rest of the night was clear and the stars blanketed the skies. We were joined by a big frog (we named Wally) and he hung out with us for the remainder of the night. Even when we shooed him away, he kept hoping back. I suppose everyone wants a little company now and then.
